How we develop our community

For example

  • We reduce the risks facing our children/young people in Birmingham

We achieve this by strengthening our child/children protection systems/policies, work in partnership with other organisations to help children with disabilities, improve support for vulnerable children and their families, fight trafficking and exploitation and promote safe migration.

  • Increase access to services for at-risk children

We achieve this by improving access to healthcare, safe shelter, education and training, future employment, child protection services and social support mechanisms that give children equal opportunities.

  • Build capacity of Local partners and communities

We identify and work with outstanding local people and projects to share resources, strengthen capacity and ensure the effective delivery of services. Through partnership and collaboration, we enhance our reach and further our impact, to empower more children in the longer term.
